This has been a long and cold spring--about 10 degrees colder than usual for the Pacific Northwest--and we've had so much rain that our driveway is just covered in mud, leaves and sticks.
Our UPS driver has requested that we do some serious cleanup because he's having trouble managing the hand truck for deliveries and pick ups so I've been out there before work and after (thank goodness for the longer days) shoveling, sweeping and moving mud.
I hope he doesn't complain about the potholes in the easement leading up to our driveway. We've filled the holes three times now, but none of our neighbors are willing to contribute to the upkeep--even though the easement leads to all 4 houses--and there's only so much we can do.
