It's official. I have been hired as a writer an editor for an online company that provides content to a variety of websites. I can't say that it's easy... most of the topics I'm writing about are way outside of experience--What are Forssman Antibodies was a recent one--but the job pays pretty well and it pays twice a week. Squishing all of my Starbucks' hours into three days has also made a difference in terms of the money spent on gas and I actually got change back when I filled the tank today--that's a first in a long time.
The good news is that on the days I don't work for Starbucks, I will be able to put close to six hours into OHP and then work my 6 hours shift writing and editing. Just this past week, I saw a difference in how many books I was able to get ready to ship, so I am feeling more positive than I have in a while.
